Were truer words ever spoken where love is concerned.

If there's one thing I've learned through my own experiences with grief and loss and working with others in the course of theirs, it's how our losses become part of us. Where once we defined ourselves in partnership with a something or someone, now we're in partnership with their absence until we see them again.

It's really lovely, the way you put this one.
