Garnet splashes into the sapphire blue waves, diving down, down... and then up- arms uptstretched, fingertips together, hair flowing behind...
"It's fun, you know..." Suprised at hearing the bubbly voice, Garnet turns her head only to see a lively fish dart away.
"...to tease them." from the other side now, a second fish- seemingly a twin of the first- turns tail, leaving giggle-bubbles in it's wake.
Garnet watched in wonder as the duet continued their novel narration, back & forth, finishing each other's sentences in a most peculiar way...
"Just-out-of-sight..."
"Just-out-of-reach..."
"What better way to tantalize those fishermen?"
Garnet agrees, laughs, and joins the dance- flip, dive, surface, smile, wave.... then dive again with a flash of her beautiful tail...Giggles and giggle-bubbles as the fishermen on the rocks above gasp & point... wave & dive before they can get a good pic with their cell phone cameras...
Frolic & fun till she's cold & tired,
Then (tail turned back to ordinary legs) home again.
