Uninvited

So... I found this snake in my garage one day. What does one do when one finds a snake in one's garage? Take a picture & write a poem about it, of course!

Oh snake, I beg you
Think again
Before you make my garage your den-
The choice is one you might regret;
I can’t adopt you as my pet.
My guests might think your visage’s ugly,
Your cold, dry scales are far from snuggly.
And so, because we can’t be friends,
I’ll shoot you-
With my photo lens,
Then with my broom I’ll quickly sweep you
Out, before I opt to keep you!
