Weakness and Poem

Today’s question (courtesy of The Cafe of the Cosmic Blog) is: What are your four major weaknesses as a person?

1) Shyness (this is also a minor strength)
2) Too much of a rule-follower (this is also a minor strength)
3) I tend to think I’m not compassionate enough. Often times I think (when listening to someone bemoan life’s pitfalls), “Just suck it up.” (and maybe they should)
4) I tend to appear very serious, even when I’m not. (a trait with no redeeming value)

Winter Bird

Maybe this is South
For Winter Bird.
Perhaps there is a
colder,
snowier,
darker place,

And if that is, indeed, the case
Then Winter Bird is basking
And you won’t find her asking
For direction, ‘cause she’s happy with
Comparative perfection.
