And So I Was Reading...

...the local paper when I came across one of those articles that was serious and not funny at all, but almost seems like something someone made up for laughs. Like April Fool in November. It went like this:

Another Body Found in Maine Woods by Deer Hunter

BELMONT, Maine (AP)- For the third time this month, a Maine deer hunter has found human remains in the woods

Maine State Police say skeletal remains were found Saturday...

Sounds like something that Stephen King (whom my husband ran into in a local book store last week) would be inspired by.

Actually, the Maine woods would not be bad as a final resting place, if it weren’t for those pesky hunters...

It's enough to make one think hunters should have to pass a licensing exam in forensic anthropology. :-)
