To continue the girly theme (started by ‘perfume‘) I’ll move on to ‘hair.’

The hair theme has it’s roots in Dear Abby. You know, the newspaper advice column. One letter sparked an avalance of responses. About hair. Women’s hair. Long vs. short.

You see, some woman wanted to cut her hair, and was all in a dither and quanadry because her husband preferred her hair to be long, so she wrote to the venerable Abby for advice. Then letters poured in from both men & women, saying what they thought of the length of women’s hair.

Seems that women think long hair is harder to care for than short. That it has to be brushed all the time, and washed every day. Wrong. Not so, ladies. Not mine, anyway. I wash it twice a week and comb it once or twice a day. No hair spray. No blow dryin’. I do have a curling brush that I use once in a while when I wanna look extra pretty, but that’s not very often.

No dyin’ either. Love my glittery grey.
