Garnet re-tells one of her favorite jokes:
"Once upon a time many years ago a certain lady read an article in a woman’s magazine which stated that a milk bath worked wonders for the skin.
She decided to try this novel beauty treatment for herself. The next morning she ordered gallons and gallons of milk from the milk delivery man.
Never having made such a delivery to a residential home, he looked at her in astonishment. “What are you going to use all that milk for?” he couldn’t help but ask of the lady.
“Why, I’m going to take a bath in it!” she smiled.
The milkman thought this was the craziest thing he had ever heard. “Do you want it pasteurized?” he asked in a sarcastic tone of voice.
“No.” said the lady cheerfully, “Up to my knees would be fine.”"
